Overview

We’re looking for a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join our growing team.

This role offers hands-on experience across the planning discipline, working closely with our Planning Director, Chartered Town Planner, and Managing Director. You’ll also collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, gaining insight into how planning integrates with architecture and landscape design.

As a small, dynamic team, we provide real opportunities to learn and grow. You'll work on a variety of projects, gaining the skills and experience needed to progress toward Chartered status.

Graduate Town Planner advert, Salary £25,000 - £28,000, Helpringham in Lincolnshire, Comprehensive employment package

Responsibilities:

  • Research and prepare planning applications for submission
  • Undertake site visits to appraise development proposals
  • Prepare Design and Access Statements, Planning Statements, and Heritage Impact Assessments
  • Prepare Local Plan Representations
  • Attend meetings with clients and Local Planning Authorities
  • Support projects at all stages with associated administrative tasks

Skills and experience:

  • A degree in Town and Country Planning (or equivalent)
  • Relevant work experience
  • Highly motivated with a keen willingness to learn
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
